The competition returns for its 17th edition<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Conseil scolaire francophone provincial is proud to announce the 17th edition of its prestigious Public Speaking Competition, which will be held on May 1 at 10 a.m. (Newfoundland time) at \u00c9cole des Grands-Vents.<\/span><\/p>\n

A landmark event for the promotion of the French language<\/span><\/h2>\n

Each year, this iconic competition celebrates the richness and beauty of the French language within our educational community. It provides students with an exceptional platform to demonstrate their creativity, eloquence and proficiency in French. <\/span><\/p>\n

A major competition<\/span><\/h2>\n

Finalists in the elementary, middle and secondary categories from each CSFP school will have the opportunity to present their original speeches in front of a jury of impartial judges. The evaluation will be based on rigorous criteria, including oral expression, quality of language and consistency of speech. <\/span><\/p>\n

A springboard for our young talents<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Competition encourages students to develop their language skills and self-confidence. By speaking in public, they refine their argumentative skills and their ability to express themselves in front of an audience, which are valuable assets for their future. <\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to thank Sophie Gauthier, our identity building agent, in charge of organizing this contest.
