Today we celebrate World Teachers’ Day. A way to thank these professionals whose noble responsibility is to train the adults of tomorrow. It is also an opportunity to congratulate them for their adaptation to the Covid-19 era. <\/p>\n
5 October commemorates the signing of the 1966 ILO\/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers. This sets out the benchmarks for teachers’ rights and responsibilities as well as standards for their initial and in-service training, recruitment, employment and teaching and learning conditions. Teachers’ Day has been celebrated since 1994. <\/p>\n
To all teachers, and especially those of the CSFP, from the metropolis of Avalon to Labrador, via the West Coast, we wish you a good day!<\/p>\n
