To teach in our schools, you must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or an equivalent qualification. You must also be able to obtain a teaching certificate for Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our positions involve teaching the curriculum from primary through secondary school only.
We prioritize applications from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals holding a valid work permit. For international recruitment, we participate in dedicated events—either in person or through our partners. Regarding teaching positions, we accept and review international applications provided the candidate has already verified their eligibility for certification in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our positions are conducted in French. Some positions require proficiency in English.
